A Day Off In Latrobe
Just as things were getting underway, the Steelers have a day off from practice and St. Vincent’s is closed for business this 2nd day of August, 2016. Unfortunately the day off comes with news of Senquez Golson suffering a Lisfranc injury, which means the breaking of certain bones in the foot. Certainly hate to see this kid have to suffer through another season but it’s looking as if twelve weeks is the estimated time of recovery.
Of course the injury to Golson opens up more opportunities for rookie safety slash corner Sean Davis to get more reps in certain packages, we feel certain they have plans of moving him around to cover and give corner help. The sad part is you always hate to see any player get taken out of the mix simply by virtue of an injury, Golson has been unable to even participate in a pre-season game, and now this. Such is life in the National Football League.
